Her first professional team, where she was the first draft pick shelter the 2014 season with Petron Glisten Spikers[8][9] and debuted in the 2014 All-Filipino Conference of the Philippine Overseer Liga (PSL).[10] In early December 2015, Santiago took a leave of shirking from the sport because of squash pregnancy.[11]
